This policy explains how Numia collects, uses, and protects information connected to the website, waitlist, mobile app, encrypted identities, and future $NUMIA features.

Last Updated

Numia is designed for encrypted expression, but privacy still matters. Use public identity features thoughtfully and only share what you want others to see.

Waitlist Data

We collect the email address you submit so we can notify you about the Numia app launch.

Claimed Identity

When identity claiming opens, your encrypted name, avatar, level, and public profile signals may be visible in Numia.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell your personal information. We use data to operate, protect, and improve Numia.

Information We Collect

  • Contact information, such as the email address you provide when joining the waitlist.
  • Identity and profile information you choose to create, such as encrypted names, avatars, progress levels, and profile signals.
  • App and website activity, such as pages visited, feature usage, device/browser details, and basic diagnostics.
  • Wallet or token-related information if you choose to connect a wallet or use $NUMIA features in the future.

How We Use Information

  • To manage the waitlist and send launch, access, and product updates.
  • To let users claim, display, and use Numia identities across the platform.
  • To operate lessons, challenges, roadmap participation, moderation, security, and support.
  • To improve the app experience, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and understand which features are working.

Public Identity Features

  • Numia is built around visible encrypted identities. Information you add to a public profile may be seen by other users.
  • You should avoid placing sensitive personal information inside encrypted names, bios, challenges, or shared content.
  • Some profile elements, such as avatar style, encoded name, level, badges, or creator signals, may be displayed publicly.

Cookies and Local Storage

  • We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to remember preferences, such as dark mode.
  • We may use analytics or diagnostic tools to understand site/app performance and improve the product.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may work differently if disabled.

Sharing and Service Providers

  • We may share information with service providers that help us host, analyze, secure, communicate, and operate Numia.
  • Avatar and media services may receive the technical information needed to deliver images or assets to your device.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer.

Data Security

  • We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) to protect data transmitted between your device and our servers.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate and improve Numia.
  • While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your device secure.

Data Retention

  • We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.
  • Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until Numia is no longer operating.
  • You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@numia.world. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

  • Numia is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@numia.world and we will delete it promptly.
